I've always loved riding a bike as a kid, it was my transportation to the world, jumping make shift ramps and crossing any field in my path. But when I was in my 20's I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and saw this guy from the US Postal Team in the Tour De France that beat cancer and that's when I rediscovered what riding a bike was as a survivor. I couldn't get enough of it, riding for hours and hours, mile after mile, riding any century ride I could and taking on Crit racing. Then in my 30's came Triathlons and learning how to really swim. Now in my 40's you'll find me on the trails riding and racing my MTB. It was all away to balance life and feel like I had really beat cancer.
I have to admit I'm a little bias, on the fact that I am married to the owner and that I also like to eat. (Lol) Truly though I'm honored to say I do use and love them all. I have believed in the products from day one, just like I believe in my wife and what she has done by bringing the best products to athletes. I was a short distance Triathlete and Road bike racer when I met Karen and lucky I did, being a man I didn't know about hair-care products like TRISWIM, so my solution to hair-care was to sport a number 2 cut all over. It's no wonder she even noticed me. (Lol) Now-a-days my sport is Mountain Biking, so I'd have to say my favorite and most used is SKINSLICK. I never miss a spray under the hood before a MTB ride if you know what I mean. (Lol)
How many races have you participated in?
So hard to count! (Crit's, triathlon, xterra and MTB)
How many pets do you have?
Favorite bike ride?
Turquoise Trail Scenic Byway, New Mexico, runs between Albuquerque (elv. 5,312) and Santa Fe (elv. 7,198), and during the summer you have to speed it up because of the lightning storms in the afternoon.
Favorite place to vacation and why?
Anywhere with my wife, but I am partial to Hawaii or any place I can wear shorts, flip flops and my cologne smells like sunscreen.
Beer, IPA to be exact. Unfortunately my belly disagrees. I wish I could harness the power from my digesting of it.
